Dean Edmund Kittleson
Dean Edmund Kittleson was born on April 15, 1936 on the Kittleson Farm, Woodside Township, Rural Mentor MN. His parents were Bennie and Hilda (Hovland) Kittleson.
He was baptized and confirmed at Maple Lake Lutheran Church and attended Woodside Country School and Mentor Public School, graduating in 1954.
Dean has 3 siblings: Donna, Harriet and Shirley
His employment consisted of Farming, Bradley Motors and Future Edition Daycare.
Dean married Phyllis Ann Abbott October 7, 1961 at Faith Lutheran Church in Mentor. Phyllis passed away on January 25, 2020. They had 2 children, Kathryn (Stuart) Lien and Charles (Mary Jo) Kittleson. Dean and Phyllis have 7 grandchildren, Jordan (Forrest) Anderson, Isaac (Candace) Lien, Lauren Lien (Tory Syverson), Faith (Justin) Juve, Jessica (Lucas) Hansen, Brian (Ariel) Kittleson and Kayla (Brian) Anderson. They also have 11 great grandchildren, Maci, Vivian, Spencer, Marshall, Camerson, Violette, Emma, Caleb, Micah and Madilyn.
Dean's hobbies include duck hunting, collecting guns and coins, wood carving, building bird houses, feeding birds and talking!
